Internet Marketing Manager
Responsibility:
- Analyze and implement best practices in the areas of SEO, Social Media, CPC Management, Web Development and other Internet Marketing Strategies.
- Work closely with team members for web content, social media development, image and video distribution and to develop programs to increase the revenue per visitor.
- Develop and recommend SEM practices and strategies.
- Support all efforts to meet marketing goals.
- Attend marketing and product development meetings and participate in creating new ideas, strategies & concepts.
Expectations for specific areas of responsibility:
SEM
- Create, monitor and optimize multiple pay-per-click search engine marketing campaigns.
- Utilize tools to best manage campaigns within search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Bing).
- Monitor and analyze rankings in major search engines and adjust campaigns accordingly.
SEO
- Develop and implement SEO strategy and plan, to improve organic search rankings and expand reach for key terms in order to increase organic search traffic.
- Increase exposure and maintain listings for all local search results
- Assist with optimization and press release distribution through online posting and news distribution resources.
- Develop and implement link building strategy.
- Develop, maintain and collaborate keyword list.
Social Media
- Develop social media strategies to increase traffic, conversions and brand awareness & loyalty
- Maintain presence on social media sites and online communities
- Stay informed and report on social media trends and opportunities
Website & Data Contents
- Manage site architecture, meta tagging and site maps.
- Create, optimize and test landing pages for specific campaigns and strategies.
- Manage and create email campaigns.
- Assist with creation of regular newsletters and manage distribution, analysis and opt-in compliance.
- Report needs and priorities to web development team and test new functions
Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze traffic statistics and customer behavior to spot trends, increase conversion rates and ROI, and increase overall traffic.
- Create reporting methods and provide accurate reports with analysis on campaign results periodically.
- Analyze and report on all online advertising campaigns, including such metrics as CTR, conversion rate, acquisition cost and ROI.
- Monitor tracking of all paid internet marketing links (i.e. CPC, paid partner sites, listing sites) to ensure proper tracking and ROI measurement.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to optimize for organic search on the major search engines.
- Strong familiarity with Social Media and Community Websites
- Experience managing, tracking, and optimizing online marketing campaigns SEM and SEO
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You are an excellent writer, capable of easily taking on new subject matter and speaking intelligently on a broad array of subjects.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and other software tools
- Basic to moderate/experience HTML is preferred
- Collaborative skills and teamwork is required
- Results-oriented, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines. You get excited about and have a real skill for gathering and interpreting data. You dig into the data to understand your customer and their behavior. And you have a “test, measure, and improve” approach to everything you do.

Business Assistant
Responsibility:
- Manage a multi-line phone system independently as a Main Receptionist. Receive and direct telephone calls and office visitors, answer questions, take messages, or screen callers as appropriate to the assignment.
- Provide customer support by answering to the 877 number in the start-up phase. Help to buildup customer call-center procedures and protocols.
- Order, receive and stock office and kitchen supplies, maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchens and public areas
- Active participation in contributing to proactive solutions to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and cost savings
- Support and assist with meetings by setting up conference lines, supplying food and beverages, prepping meeting room and checking meeting rooms after meetings.
- Apply administrative assistant expertise to perform a variety of secretarial/clerical tasks.
- Be accountable for ensuring accuracy and completeness of documents. Tasks may include transcribing correspondence; maintaining calendars; scheduling meetings; making travel arrangements; answering telephones and providing related follow-through; filing; preparing reports, meeting agendas and minutes, and presentation materials; processing reimbursement for travel and other expenses; and maintaining records.
- Write letters, reports, minutes, and completes forms. Most assignments require the use of a personal computer, utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, or data base software typically used in general business activities.

- Require successful completion of a one- or two-year degree/diploma in an administrative assistant/secretarial field or a minimum of two years experience in a secretarial/administrative assistant role performing responsibilities such as managing calendars, creating correspondence/reports/presentations, database/spreadsheet management, coordinating travel, etc.
- Must have computer experience and possess proficiency on technical office equipment (computer, printer, dictation equipment, phone system, fax machine, etc). Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office software. Ability to use Internet for resources and research
- Must possess high-level skill in organization, clerical aptitude, interpersonal relations, excellent written and oral communication skills, and have the ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, including standard office practices and independent composition of letters.

Eligibility Criteria: Currently enrolled in (with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship) a 4-year bachelor degree program, preferred in computer, business, communication or government majors. Must be able to report to work at our Sugar Land office during the program period - 6/10/2011 - 8/10/2011 and be eligible to work in the US.
