Business Development Manager

Witmart is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager with extensive experience in sales and account management to support our growing business needs. The successful candidate should have an outgoing personality a positive attitude and the drive to help our company grow. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients and a representative of our intellectual properties services — both at home and abroad so there will also be opportunities for travel.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build and perpetuate profitable business partnerships and relationships which promote long-term success
  • Develop and maintain a strong list of prospects in the CRM system
  • Expected to host meetups travel to conferences and major relevant networking events and seminars to help build the brand and meet prospects
  • Identify and target key individuals to engage with strategic methodology while leveraging previous relationships and accomplishments
  • Utilize referrals email phone and linkedIn to communicate with the key individuals
  • Develop quotes proposals and close the deal
  • Propose and negotiate collaboration agreements with various potential business partners

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve defined objectives
  • Proven track record of successfully closing sales and seeking out referrals
  • Strong business development skills in new sectors and markets
  • Demonstrated understanding of business business challenges and comfortable conversing with business leaders
  • Consummate professional in relationship management and strategic selling
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and a demonstrated ability to work well in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
